UPDATE! Try Toothpaste!!!Thanks to Tamara! Got a dirty pony? Maybe these tips can help. First brush out the hair, section it out and brush or comb each section separately, when you're done then comb it all through. Get a toothbrush for scubbing. 409 works pretty good. spray the pony and scrub her down. Rinse her off. Tada! For so-soft ponies scrub gently with the toothbrush using a circular motion on dingy spots. Now for the hair use whatever you are using on your hair. Shampoo the mane and tail and rinse well, then apply conditioner and once again brush it out, wet your hand and squeeze it out starting at the body. Don't rinse the conditioner out. If you want the hair curly you can wrap it around a pencil or a pen or you can use hairpins as curlers and rubber bands to hold it in place. Don't use herbal essence conditioner, it'll make the ponies hair greasy(your's too!). Some ponies have marks that might be removed using nail polish remover. Use a q-tip and be CAREFUL! getting it on the symbol will damage it and may erase it. Eye rubs can be fixed if it's only on the black parts. Get a Sharpie or any black permanent marking pen and go over the rub, once again, be CAREFUL! If you make a mistake you can't take it off without taking off the eye paint. These tips I have personally used and I believe them to be quite effective.

These tips I have not personally tried and make no guarraranties. I am not responsible if damage occurs. MARKER STAINS Bleach-paint the stain with bleach and leave in the sun. Hydrogen peroxide-paint stain with HP and leave pony in the sun. Hairspray? spray on stain and blot off

SMOOZE UPDATE!!! i haven't worked the bugs out of this method yet so if you try it be careful. Using hydrogen peroxide and cotton balls or q-tips scrub very hard for a very long time on the black heads. Please use gloves!!!! i didn't and i got a bad chemical burn. The blackheads didn't disappear, but they faded a bit. I'm beginning to think the smooze wasn't defeated, just driven away. Ponies exposed to the smooze have a condition similar to blackheads and I haven't been able to get rid of it! If you have any suggestions, please e-mail me and I will try them out on my experimental pony,Sundance. She's in way too poor a shape to trade and practically offered to be a guinea pony. to mane page
